Grandview, settled in 1854, earned its name from the panoramic “grand view” of the surrounding prairie visible from its elevated position. To get to the airport From Grandview, take I-35W N toward Fort Worth/Dallas. Continue north on I-35W, passing through Alvarado and Burleson, and follow the highway signs for DFW International Airport, connecting via I-20, I-820, or TX-360 N. The drive is approximately 50-55 miles and takes about 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes.
